Why does my dog run off, have a go at other dogs, jump up - all these and much more explained to you and your family at our training workshops held in Farnham or Alton. We use our teaching dogs to help your dog learn how to cope and communicate with other dogs properly. We combine some socialisation and gentle obedience to allow your dog to relearn some of their canine manners.

From 10.30am on Tuesdays at Farnham  ( 11.30 for adults) or Thursdays at 1pm near Alton.

Be sure to ask about the teenage romp at Farnham on Tuesday mornings - your dog may be able to join this opportunity to let off some steam with other friendly dogs.    Call now to book your dog's place.

Find out what type of dog you have.........Learn what your dog is trying to tell you.

Evening Social Skills Classes for all ages and breeds.

Our unique way of training allows for all ages, breeds, and sizes - we train for how you can control your dog when you are in the park or woods or even on the beach!. Your puppy needs to learn how to interact with adult dogs and you need to know how or if you should intervene when this is happening.  We show you how to understand dog's body language and carefully introduce dogs of ages and sizes together in a fully supervised and safe environment.  Come and join our friendly group and help your dog meet some new friends.

Available on Wednesday evenings at Finchampstead   -   Please note we start at 7.30

Start as you mean to go on -  you bring your new dog home full of excitement and plans of how you are you going to train this dog to become a well behaved member of the family.  However, within a very short period of time, you will find that things are slipping and your dog is already making a bid to take over – sound familiar? Well don’t worry – help is at hand.

Our group is designed to help you and are run on a “join when you choose” basis, so you don’t have to wait to enroll your dog  on the next course. You can come along and join us as soon as your Vet tells you that you can. This is often after the first inoculation as all the other dog have also been vaccinated and we can start the socialisation programme quickly.

  • Come and learn how to understand and teach your dog and have some fun as well.

  • We are Kennel Club accredited and you have the option taking the Good Citizen Tests should you want to.

  • All sizes and ages from 12 weeks welcome. We have a special puppy foundation course designed to see you through those first few weeks of having your puppy but our classes are designed so that your puppy meets all ages and breeds of dogs.

  • We aim to help build your confidence so you can handle your dog in any situation.

  • All classes are fully supervised by professional dog handlers and qualified instructors.

  • Behavioural advice and training are given to support the course.

  • Rescue Dogs are our specialty.

  • Meet our Teaching Dogs - Dogs learn best from other dogs, especially older mature dogs and so we always involve our teaching dogs in this programme so that your puppy/dog can continue to learn manners like it did from its mum and litter mates.

  • We use kind non confrontational methods only with no force, or choke chains

Our charges are £75 per 6 week course payable at the start with a discount of 10% off future courses.

Equipment:  -

Please make sure that you bring your vaccination card on the first night so that we can record this on your dog's records.

Please bring along all your training equipment that you have at home on the first visit so that we can discuss which is the best for your puppy or dog. There is a huge range of “stuff” available to train your dog in the pet shops so if you are in any way confused as to what to buy – and we are every-time we go - then please wait and discuss what to get when you meet your trainer. Basically you need a collar, lead and dog, “pooh” bags and a few treats. Don’t feed your dog before you visit and come along and enjoy yourselves.

Cant make classes?

Let our trainers do the training for you with our

ONE DAY INTENSIVE TRAINING  or our RESIDENTIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME - click here for more details

Leave your dog with us for a one day intensive course of training and social skills. We will  make arrangements for your dog to be assessed by the trainer allocated to your dog.

These assessments are usually held at our social groups on either Wednesday or Saturday morning. Once your dog has been assessed, we will arrange for you to bring your dog to our trainers home on an agreed date at 10am and collect  again at 4pm. During the day the trainer will work with your dog and his own dogs to help address the problems that you are experiencing. On collection you will be shown how the training has gone and what to practice at home.  Normally we would then suggest at least two visits to the social groups on Saturday mornings (or Wednesday morning ) to help you practice your control of the dog and also to give you the opportunity to reinforce the rules with the trainer working with you and the dog.   Prices start from £75.

Please note that we believe that there is never any need for harsh or correctional training – we use kind positive reinforcement methods and they work.  However this method may not work with any aggression problems currently experiencing and if you feel that your dog is showing any thing like that, then please contact the office as we need to address these working with you on a one to one basis in our rehabilitation groups before they spend the day with us.

One off visits can always be arranged - just in case  your dog suddenly forgets all you have taught him!

We specialise in this magnificent breed and are proud of our successes so far. Whether you have a new puppy or have recently taken on a new rescue dog, there is a place for you in our club. All our owners enjoy bringing their dogs to share in the fun and laughter of our dogs many antics.

What you will soon learn is that you are not alone when dealing with your dog. We look forward to meeting you soon.

We now accept credit/debit cards.
