Residential Care for your Dogs- TERMS OF BUSINESS
1. Your bookings, which much must be on our booking form and sent to us with the arrangement fee of £10.00, will only be effective when confirmed by us in writing. All dogs must be assessed unless known to the Walkabout Group as being suitable for Residential care – please contact us immediately for this assessment.
2. On receipt of our invoice, this is payable direct to the office by the date specified
3. No dogs can be accepted by the carer until full payment of our invoice, has been received in the office. All invoices are due for payment two weeks prior to the agreed start date of the booking.
4. In the event of cancellation by you, the following scale of payments will apply: 2 weeks prior to booking start date 100% + admin fee 3 weeks prior to booking start date 75% + admin fee 4 weeks prior to booking start date 50% + admin fee 6 weeks prior to booking start date 20% + admin fee 8 weeks prior to booking start date 0% + admin fee
5. Over the Christmas and New Year Holiday periods, there is an additional charge due. This will be notified of this prior to confirmation of your booking.
6. Only the dog that has been registered will be allowed to stay at the carers home for the period of the booking.
7. Copies of the current vaccination certificate and current insurance documents must be forwarded to the office with the booking form. Full details of any health problems must be advised as soon as they are known in case this affects the booking.
8. You are responsible for making suitable arrangements for the delivery and collection of your dog to us. Please be mindful of convenient times and if you are going to be late, please call. If you cannot collect until the next day, then please call us to discuss this An additional fee will be charged and payable before you may remove your dog.
9. You must provide sufficient food and medication for your dog for the full stay - if additional food has to purchased, this must be paid for on collection of your dog.
10.You are responsible for payment for any Veterinary treatment that is necessary - we will use our own Vets.
11.You will be responsible for any damage caused by your dog during its stay and for any third party claims. - Please make sure you have insurance cover.
12.Payment is per full day irrespective of how many hours your dog is there in that day.
13.Dates of the booking can only be changed, once they have been confirmed in writing, through the office.
These terms of business and the brochure override and supersede all previous issues.
